Job description

  The Program Manager SBS is responsible for the Strategic direction, people management and profitable Sales of our SBS Payment Solutions.    (S)he targets accounts in the small-and Mid Market segment and is responsible for:
  • Building winning strategies
  • Develop and implement sales and account development strategies to drive incremental billings and increase engagement of the SBS portfolio
  • Develop portfolio management effectiveness strategies including key performance indicators such as campaign volume optimization, campaign allocation, outbound productivity, conversion rates and incremental Billed Business volume outcome
  • Leverage a CRM ( capability to quickly implement outbound campaigns, to create ad hoc reporting to track campaigns KPI’s & efficiency , to monitor closely Close Sales Pipeline
  • Provide strategic leadership and coaching to sell the SBS Value proposition
  • People Management
  • Coach, motivate and manage performance one Sales & Account Development Managers to improve conversion rate, call skills, customer management ability and overall productivity
  • Manage individual development plans
  • Innovation
  • Define new segments/ industries to be prospected
  • Import Best Practices in Portfolio Development from other mature Amex SBS Markets
  • Manage, change and bring new initiatives
  • Managing the SBS Program
  • Reinforce the SBS B2B Value Proposition
  • Revitalize SBS products through definition and implementation of new benefits
  • Define B2B MR strategy in coordination with the MR team
  • Managing internal relationships
  • Develop internal strong work relationships
  • Collaborate with peers

Your profile

  1. possess a technical expertise of the functioning of a specific own domain, able to translate objectives for this domain into action plans for this domain and proactively contribute to their realisation
  2. meaningfully compile and structure information from different sources according to the own domain and main focus on generating alternative solutions to come to a valuable and sound conclusion
  3. take the right decision on time, on the basis of available information and initiate actions impacting others, within operational guidelines with the appropriate information to all involved
  4. guide others by giving clear instructions and by tracking and adjusting of their results according to the objectives and available resources.
  5. give specific advice to collaborators and customers and build a relation of trust based on own credibility and expertise
  6. able to work within strict deadlines, stay calm in stressful work situations and set priorities in order to be able to reacting positively to frustrations, obstacles and opposition. Take responsibility for one’s own output.
  Education and learning time The function requires a knowledge that is at least equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) with 4 years of relevant experience. Languages High communication skills (Oral and Written) in following languages :
  • Dutch

  • English
